Do you or does someone you know embody compassion, courage, and the power to collaborate change?
We think you do!
Peace First recently launched the third annual Peace First Prize to celebrate young people leading change in their schools and communities. It is open to young people between the ages of 8 – 22 and will be awarded to five young leaders who have demonstrated compassion, courage and the power to create collaborative change. Winners will each receive $25,000 and participate in a two-year Peace First Fellowship to support their development as leaders and guide them in furthering their peacemaking work.
The Peace First Prize is about recognizing the thousands of young people across the country who, each day, are taking a stand, confronting injustice, and working together to build a more peaceful world through incredible acts, both large and small.
